Kids specifically asked for "store bought" Halloween costumes. I guess they are traumatized by my craftiness

Well they finally realized paperbags with eye holes didn't cut it ! LOL

Once I was 8 or 9 I compiled my own costumes, except that one time I won't talk about.

I never had store bought. They were always handmade. But then again, all costumes were.

Do the crutches play into the oldest's costume at all?

It's the middle. He's going to be Freddy. I'm not sure how he will get around on Halloween. We go back on Tuesday. My oldest didn't buy a costume, he usually just throws on a soccer jersey. I usually dress up, last year I was lady gaga. I have nothing for this year planned :(

I don't have a picture available at the moment, but out of the dozen or so witches, my little Tinken Baben won for the ugliest costume. I did get up proper so she'd have the witch ugliness. While every other witch had a string holding their crooked pounty nosed on, I used nose putty and spirit gum to hold it in place.

Lol.

I prefer the creative homemade costumes. :)
