Heres a tip (I have been on front page about tqo or three times) make memes that you know a regular guy would find funny, not just you. My personal humor is somewhat complex, and I don't luagh at ridiculous things like farting- but a lot of other people will! So you also have to look at pop culture and reference that, especially if it provokes some sort of rage. (AKA TRIGGERED!)
