The press has had a severe downsizing in the last 50 years. Newspapers that we once relied on to be the watchdogs of our government have folded right and left. Journalists are now putting aside their impartiality in favor of their employers stance on politics.

Show me a tweet where Trump apologized outright...crickets chirping. He doesn't need mainstream media when reading his tweets is awful enough. It's a little self centered to make everything negative about him into a "haters" conspiracy, when most of the objections are based on real and verifiable facts. Most of the things he accuses others of (on the taxpayer's dime and time) are very applicable to him as well. It's also disturbing the cult like devotion his "followers" have even in face of the things he says and does.
