I don't think anybody living around here is scared of clowns. I see armed citizens everywhere I go. And come January 2nd anybody without any schooling or safety classes in my state can carry a concealed weapon almost anywhere, except for schools and courthouses, etc, etc. So I don't think the problem will be clowns, I think the problem will be who gets to shoot the clown first around here....

im not that comfortable with guns. I'm not against ones right, I has a gun pulled on me..,, when I was about 17. I will never forget it. That guy is now a police officer, as well as the one who saved me.
Around here, everyone is so anti guns, they would call police if you shot a squirrel in your yard.
I'm still not sure how Halloween will play out.

I'm not gonna lie. it can be unnerving to be walking around a grocery store and see some huge Grizzly Adams looking dude with a six shooter on his hip. Even though I grew up in an area that you expected everybody around you to be armed in some way. You sure don't expect to see somebody with a six shooter like Billy the Kid casually walking around the grocery store.

I guess it would stop anybody from messing with you unless they were willing to risk taking a bullet.

I'm not too sure how I feel about the no classes needed bill that passed. I grew up with gun safety drilled into my head from an early age. I passed my first hunter safety course at a really young age and have a lot of respect for the power of any firearm. The idea of people without that respect just walking around with guns is kinda scary. Not to mention how on edge the police dept is going to be knowing everybody they encounter could be armed better than them.

I don't mean to ramble on, just something my friends and I debate a lot. I prefer to be armed if everybody else is. Criminals care not about the laws we make for guns. They don't want us to be armed so they have an advantage, if somebody threatens my family I choose to be on even ground with the ability to let them know they have not chosen an easy target.

Blah blah blah, and how many times do you think idiots are going to accidentally shoot themselves hmmm?? You remember when we took my friend Eddie hunting for the first time? You know how scary it is when somebody is holding a loaded gun for the first time, yet alone carrying one around in their pocket!

Sometimes I wonder just how much you stalk me on here lol. Yes I remember Eddie, but we taught him gun safety in one afternoon and he was fine after that. At least he shot towards the clay pigeons and nothing else :p I'm not saying this no class and carry thing is a great idea, only that the people that don't care about the laws are going to do just that. Hopefully people that plan on carrying are smart enough to at least take a class on their own....

That's why I specifically said drive door to door. Nothing wrong with driving into town, I live in the sticks and just go to a friends house in town and walk around his neighborhood. I'm talking about the people that live in the city and drive their kids from door to door. Then I have to make my kids look out for the car that keeps stopping and going plus the cars trying to get around them. Don't want my kids hit by a car, simple as that ;)

It's all in good fun. I used to live out in the middle of the woods, and so we'd drive to our "neighbors" houses in order to do Halloween.

I trick or treated in California with a pack of hoodlums, we ran to each house we didn't waste any time lol.

My parents never did this, and I'm so glad. Last year it was raining and most kids weren't even out, much less walking. (My friends and I walked that shit.)

That's part of the Holiday, it's not drive your kids around for free candy, you have to earn that shit. Too tired to walk to another house, your ass don't need the candy anyway lol!

Yeah, safe to walk from house to house without dodging cars all night lol. My kids are safe because I walk with them, that's the best part of the holiday.
