When I lived in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia years ago we had these all over the woods. One early morning I went to the bathroom, assumed the position, flipped on the light and one of meme was staring at me from the back of the toilet seat! It scared the absolute hell out of me I screamed like a child and cried for my dad haha!
For America, this is a terrifying spider to have to live with. Their bites hurt bad and leave half-dollar sized welts and larger. They hunt, not sit in webs.
