By legally not paying any federal income taxes, it does prove him to be smart. Most people can do the same thing, but don't take the time to do so.

Not needing to pay federal income tax is only possible through losses of various means. These typically are to the direct benefit of people further down the chain. It is part of how trickle-down economics is supposed to work.

No it means he (and those like him) puts the burden of taxes on the middle class.

There are Tax loopholes and the wealthy take advantage of them legally. Just Like the Clinton foundation does not pay 1 penny in tax for all the millions they launder through it.
However , all Trumps employees pay taxes on the wages he pays them so there is money paid to the Government that came through him !

Anyone is able to use tax "loopholes." They are called incentives. They are all over the place for a myriad of purposes.

I can't find any that lower my tax rate to 15% or less like the wealthy cab find. And I have a good accountant.

You should look for a new accountant and listen to their advice on how to increase your deductibles.

Believe me my accountant is fine. It's just that when you make $200k-$250k there are not enough deductibles to drop the tax rate to 0-15% like Trump or other wealthy people.

Why should they shoulder all the tax burden?

Obama sent 770 Million dollars to the middle east to remodel Muslim Mosques...Thats US TAXPAYER dollars and I have a big problem with that. I don't blame anyone who uses the laws to pay the least amount to a Government that squanders it instead of keeping the Money here for US Citizens that need it /veterans care/etc.
