But a Google Image search of the text usually shows it within the first couple lines if it's been done before, and it takes all of 30 seconds tops.

By the way, I hope you didn't mind me casting doubt on the premise of your meme. It's just that I've seen a number of memes about this theme (someone making a similar meme, and getting more upvotes), and I have my doubts that it actually happens as often as people talk about it.

Although personally, if it does happen to me, I take it as a sign that my meme has succeeded.

There's nothing wrong with reposting memes on purpose though. That's a big part of what makes memes memes.

that depends on how many followers you have....there are few things more frustrating than posting a good meme and getting no views, while someone else gets a hundred upvotes no matter what they put on....and it does happen
