It's because the memes don't stay in the latest section for very long and only like 1 in 30 people upvote. Then they are being pushed down by new featured memes many of which are downright pointless and completely not funny.

I had one take off, only to peter out after 255. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I've had that happen, too. Best I ever got was to page 3.

It's so unpredictable. Some days I think I have the dumbest submission and it will take off. Other days I submit something that I think is the greatest and no one contacts me. Timing I guess.
