I know right, grown man with kids of my own, can feel like a child when with my father. He just has that presence. All I can do is try to live up to that standard and hope my kids see me the same way. Appreciate your comment brotha :)
I've never seen him hurt like this, he's never taken a sick day I can remember. That's where I just drove him to work again, he can hardly stand it's crazy. Luckily he only teaches two classes a week now.

My dad hurt his back around 45? Befor that he did triathlons and Boston marathon things like that. He did have to stop all that and work... Hope it works out for him and be careful about the pain killers they may give him. :)
I constantly worked out before I broke my neck at 34. Dad still needs an MRI he is waiting on the VA. He won't take anything stronger than tramadol. But I know all about pain meds after my surgeries, don't have to worry about that with my old man ;)

Boy, you've had an interesting life. Long story short, they gave him methadone and viox. He almost died.
You could say that lol. It's almost criminal how Dr's get you hooked on something then just take it away. Whatever it is pain meds, depression meds, etc, etc. When you're in pain like that you'll do anything to make it stop or relieve it a little. You don't realize the price you'll have to pay for it later.

On it for only five days after tonsil surgery, miss one dose and I went through withdrawal symptoms. Once I figured it out I stopped taking it cold turkey. One of the worst days of my life. The worst part was, it wasn't even the Percocet that was helping the pain, it was the sherbet I was chasing it down with!
I had a 65 Mustang that was built without a light over the rear license plate. I don't know how many times I got pulled over as a kid in a Mustang with that excuse lol.
There's all kinds of weird laws here, can't have a cover over your plate, the light one, trucks only have to have a front plate but only trucks?? So you have to have a very visible rear plate, unless you drive a truck, then who cares lmao!!
