A lot of the anonymous memes are created by redditors. They'll get credit for the memes,but just on another site. If you'll notice, a lot of the anonymous memes that are on the "latest" section will have 200-500 views on them while everyone else will have only 10 views. This is because the meme is being viewed on reddit.

Me neither... If it's a politically-incorrect or a general-douchebag meme that a person wouldn't want to attach their username to, then they shouldn't be making it in the first place.

Apparently you still get the points just not the credit. I don't like anonymous memes. I try to make a habit if not upvoting or commenting on any meme that is anonymous. I just don't get the point especially if the meme is offensive to another user.

Specifically offensive (i.e. racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.) memes, I could understand someone being too cowardly to attach their username to (but why make them if you won't own up to it?). But I'm seeing just regular (though well-done and humorous) memes posted anonymously.

I mean, I'm the MOST HUMBLE MAN IN THE WORLD, but COME ON! There is such a thing as too much humility.
