Which one? I haven't really typed "Lol", but I'm using that Laughing Seal a lot lately, it must be from someone else.

Socrates comments "Lol" all the time, so maybe it was possibly him. His "Lol" comment reply got more than upvotes than my comment a few days ago... lol

No it wasn't him, it was someone I didn't recognize, but I've really only be an active user for about 3 weeks.

Oh, and I think you need 20,001 to get that icon, one time I got exactly the number I needed and didn't get the icon.

Yeah, I didn't care about the icon really, it's easy enough to get points and all I had to do was make a comment to get it. I was just amazed I actually had 20k on the nose and then noticed the icon hadn't changed. I just nitpick stuff like that.

Yeah, I hear you. Sometimes I'm compelled to comment on a meme I don't actually like. But since it provoked / elicited a response, I will typically upvote it for that reason. I guess everyone has their own personal criteria.

I've been an imgflip user for over a year and still consider myself a newbie, but if a meme is bad or offensive in a way and another user comments something really funny as a comeback towards the original meme, I have no problem up voting the comment and down voting the original meme.

Or when they can't comment on a meme with another meme and are forced to use links hoping people with scan and/or paste them.

I make it a general rule for myself if I comment on a meme I upvote it. If I comment on someones comment even if I disagree with them I upvote them unless they are being mean or rude to myself or another user for no reason.

I'm with you on that! More people should do the same!
