Pretty hard to reach the weekly leaderboard with no memes, but I did.

Commenting brings in the points better than anything

Yeah, halfway through my time on Imgflip so far, I only had about 40,000 points and 340 comments.

I'm over 10,000 comments and Dashhopes is closing in on 20,000, it's no secret why we are where we are. Interacting with others is a must if people want to move up the board.

That's a hard thing to accomplish, I've had front page memes and then received more upvotes on all my comment replies under it than the meme itself lol. Nothing about this is an exact science, that's why I don't worry about it and just have fun. The points will come if you are around enough doing that.

Well I made a meme about 4 months ago (You commented on it) that's the most commented meme on Imgflip with about 570 comments, and 44 upvotes, so of course, I got more upvotes in the comments on that meme. That got me about 25,000 points.

Jefftims doesn't seem possible though, he has 280k, the most points he could possibly have is about 9710 (4855 creations, 2 points each).

Because you don't get points for upvotes on memes that aren't featured/submitted...

He's still a little active, but it'll probably always be a mystery...
