LOL oh I agree 100%~! I don't mind someone telling me something is a repost, I just don't like when people only comment if something is a repost. If you have been on imgflip for a year and the only comments you make are to tell someone their post are repost I think it's kind of trollish. There is actually a repost of my front page meme already floating around. I upvoted it and gave them a comment as well, I honestly don't mind repost, I think 90% or more of everything on here is something inspired from another site (my "Superhero mom" meme was a joke I read on a greeting card recently) or an unintentional repost from something we see by another user.
Plus it goes by the popularity of the repost. Reposting a meme that went under the radar won't get much flak. Either way, more enjoyed it than not. And that's mainly the point of it I guess
Lol. I expected this, i saw someone give you crap about your front page meme! You didn't let me down, now, shove it down his [email protected] throat! :)
I normally don't mind reposts, but when I see a bunch of the same one in a few days it annoys me. Moderation is the key for successful reposting (or at least how to avoid my downvotes). And my meme comment is a repost.
YES!!!! I love to see original content as well, but honestly even the majority of original stuff is reposted in some way or the other. Peoples tend to have similar ideas.
I made a meme that got 100+ likes and has never been reposted that I've been able to find. I consider that successful. Besides, I don't care about memes on other sites; I don't hang out on other meme sites anyway. :|
Besides, they going to remove the repost by calling it out?
And I don't upvote a repost nor comment on one. Not anymore anyways.
Most of my jokes are from other sources, it's not so easy to be creative and original all the time.
I think we go though the repost debate about 3 times a year on here.

Reposts are a big part of how that happens. A meme that never gets reposted or shared isn't a successful meme.
