I think everyone has at least one friend who fits this meme perfectly. I have one girlfriend who has met and fell in love with guy after guy after guy and finally she grew up and realized she wasn't really "in love". A few years later she met and married a real good guy and now she laughs about how crazy she was.

I know of three couples that professed their love for their significant other, ad nauseam, on facebook for months. Each couple celebrated their engagement photos/parties on fb too. Even their weddings. 1-2 years later, guess where each couple is today? That's right...all three couples are divorced. One of the guys has since shared at least 4 "facebook official" relationships in the last year and a half.

I was going to title this danger Will Robinson, but decided caution was a better fit for online romance!

I'm so glad my daughter is not like this. It's going to take one heck of a guy to charm her she is too smart for them. Only time some older dude tried talking to her at a friends house online she called him a pervert lol! Which is what every girl should do!

Yeah my son plays a lot of online games. I monitor him pretty close, if it was one of my daughters I would monitor it even closer! I know from experience that being a young girl can be rough, you can fall in love with something as simple as a smooth word. Sadly perverts know that too, and will take advantage of them if the time is right and the circumstances allow it. Good for you raising your daughter up to know that they are lurking! I wish all 12-15 year old girls an boys were taught the same!
