Name three ways in which Hillary Clinton is better than Donald Trump. You're talking about the wife of a former President who not only had numerous sex scandals but also was impeached for perjury (breaking an oath) and obstruction of justice. Aside from her husband's problems, Hillary herself has participated in her fair share of scandals, most notably the email one that she is under FBI investigation for. I will admit that Trump has his flaws, but electing Hillary is a sure-fire way to ensure America does not improve anytime soon.

Who was impeached? Bill? You might want to look into that again.

The senate did not reach the 2/3's majority needed to fully process his impeachment. Clinton was impeached by the House on two charges. The first being perjury, and the second being obstruction of justice. Following this he was acquitted by the senate.

I said he was impeached on two charges, perjury and obstruction of justice. Was I wrong?

The process wasn't complete so he basically was never impeached or charged. You can call it what you want if you want to accept a partial. I don't see it that way.

After looking at it again, I see your point and concede that you are correct. However, that does not mean he did nothing wrong.

Oh, I fully agree he was guilty and deserved to be not only impeached but removed from office. I could care less that he had an affair what bothered me is that he perjured himself on live TV in front of millions of citizens.

I just feel strongly that her experience in politics trumps Trump's INEXPERIENCE. And I am hoping she will be a champion for women and minorities. This country is called the "UNITED" States of America for a reason, and yet who would guess?

Yes, but she is part of the establishment. In case you haven't noticed, the government is completely and utterly corrupt in both parties. That's why a non-politician like Trump is appealing! The government today doesn't care about the people; it just cares about itself and making itself bigger at the expense of the people. Can you honestly tell me that after eight years of Obama, you and your family are better off than you were in '08? Hillary will just be more of the same! Blacks are no better off today than they were eight years ago, even though Obama's being black was supposed to end any racism in America. Surely, you can't think that a woman President, especially one who is so disliked by so many people, will have a different effect on sexism.

I just don't see how a man can go from a TV reality show to the most important position in the entire United States! Even Ronald Reagan was governor of California prior to becoming US President. There's just too much hate rhetoric coming from Trump's lips.
2 ups, 9y
Ok, but that does not justify supporting Hillary Clinton. This country is messed up. Hillary will not and cannot do anything to fix it. With Trump, there's hope that his anger is driven by frustration at the state of the nation. As I'm sure you've seen, if Trump wants to get something done, he'll do it, and with him, you don't have to worry about the media or some other biased organization pushing him around.

How is it that someone who lined her pockets with millions of dollars while holding offices, regularly plays verbal footsies to avoid at the very least looking bad and at worst being indictable all while running a charity which no one credible can figure out what parts of the money goes to charity while accepting donations in exchange for political favors looks better? I would take a Kardashian over her. I also have yet to hear her say ANYTHING uniting and giving any glimpse of leadership willing to work with the other side. We have had almost 8 years now of dividing and partitioning of the country from the top office down, all so that both parties can hold on to their slice of power. Trump wouldn't be my first choice, but at least he is someone from the outside.

Apparently, money talks and that's all you're concerned with. Money, money, money! LOL .. Sorry, but there are more issues involved in the influence he would have than just the economy. The one that stands out to me is how far the US has come with social and racial integration. The way Mr. Trump is talking, he will set us back a hundred years with his policies. He is going to try and rule with an iron fist, so to speak. How has that worked out for past totalitarians?

HAHA! Money is all SHE is concerned with ...

Trump is more concerned about jobs than Hillary. More concerned about terrorism than Hillary. More interested in insuring fair trade agreements than Hillary. Race relations? Bill and Hillary said of Obama "He should be serving us coffee" and regularly used the N-word with dealing with people in the black community they didn't like. She called Down's syndrome kids collecting Easter eggs on the lawn of the Arkansas governor's mansion "f***ing ree-tards" because they were taking too much time according to multiple accounts from state troopers and other witnesses.

She is UNFIT for the Presidency and her ideas and policies are completely unsustainable for our nation and economy.

Ironically, Trump won't "rule with an iron fist" because the man knows how to delegate and run a company (he has 515 of them). He hired women when it wasn't cool, even going against his own father's wishes to do so. He hires and promotes diverse people in his organization.

Hillary pays women in the Clinton Foundation 38% LESS than men doing the same job.

Just do some research ... it's all out there

I have never heard/read about that, Bob! That's despicable, to say the least! All I can say is, if that is true, then roughly half of those who would have voted for her would almost certainly change their minds.

Disagree with all those as there is no proof but he is a 70+ year old highly successful businessman who managed to get elected President while having the emotional intelligence of a 9 year old little boy and the inability to keep his foot out of his mouth.

Still better than the 2016 alternative.

Nope. It just makes a statement. And eventually, people get more used to the idea of a woman or black president. I am not saying that I agree with Hillary completely, but she has a better idea of what is good for the nation than Trump.

Trump's inexperience is irrelevant. He will be nothing but a figure head and his advisors and Congress will basically run the country. Hillary is dangerous. She has a lot of power and people in the right places on her side. Neither will get my vote. Gary Johnson will get mine.

If Bill can love Hillary then I believe you are correct. There's not a peanut laden turd that's still warm that Bill wouldn't cozy up to. Well, that's kind of redundant after saying "Hillary".

So, her husband wasn't so great. I agree. However, she was an amazing Secretary of State, and her only flaw was not divorcing Former President Bill Clinton. However, I am sure she had her reasons, and y'all need to stop judging people on their personal life when you don't know if they actually had a very valid reason to do something.

Chapter 11 is debt reorganization, not full bankruptcy like Chapter 7. All Chapter 11 does is ask for protection from the bankruptcy courts so that creditors don't force it into Chapter 7 (full liquidation to pay off debt). Millions of successful companies have done this and it's laughable to try to say that Trump doesn't understand how to run an economy on this basis. I'd be more worried about a Secretary of State that was accepting donations from foreign governments into her private "charity" and giving $250,000 speeches to Wall Street banks.

She can't even properly manage email ... but you want HER to run the US economy? Oh wait ... she can't ... she has to have her husband's help.

Bob, think about all those who have endorsed Mrs. Clinton for President. Are they so blind that they cannot see what you see? How about Oprah Winfrey? I would think she knows a thing or two about money, yet she has also endorsed Hillary. For the record, I'm not slamming the keys down while typing this. IOW, no anger or pissy attitude here. Just replying to you. I even gave you an upvote, bro. And yes, I see your points. However, I am a proponent of unity and equality, so I was happy when a man of color was elected to the Oval Office and I will be happy to see a woman elected, as well. Sorry about her closet with proverbial skeletons, but who among us is without fault? If not her, it would be someone else. It's the way of politics, as I'm sure you well know.

Thanks for the thoughtful and measured reply. My issue with her is that too many people are willing to vote for her for one reason ... that she's a woman. That's simply not good enough for me when put against the backdrop of the dozens of scandals, her willingness to push a socialist, anti-Constitutional agenda, and her incredible selfishness in taking foreign money *while* Secretary of State. No one gives $20 million dollars to a politician without expecting something in return. What did she say to the dozens of banks that paid her a minimum of $250,000 for a 20 minute speech? WHY will she not allow those transcripts to be released? What was she hiding? She's literally the most corrupt politician we've seen in ages. She lies about so many things (my daddy was a small businessman ... is the latest).

Think about all the people and ordinary citizens who have voted for Trump in the primaries (I didn't). The reason is because people are sick and tired of the politicians positioning themselves to make millions while we have more people in poverty, more people on food stamps, higher healthcare expenses, lower wages, and she wants to bring in 550% MORE Syrian refugees (at incredible expense) while we can't even take care of our own people and veterans are waiting months to get medical treatment.

She tells people she'll put Bill in charge of the economy "because he knows how to do it" but people conveniently forget that a Republican Congress balanced the budget during his term and we had a massive technological shift (of which he had nothing to do with it) that infused trillions of dollars into our economy.

Oprah is disconnected from the reality of living on $40,000 per year. Her endorsement isn't worth the strip of video tape it's recorded on.

Simply put, voting for Hillary on the basis of her sex, is just as biased as NOT voting for her on the basis of her sex. I look way past that and examine her beliefs about the economy, the Constitution, and her political leanings in general. This is a lady who was fired from the Watergate investigation *by a Democrat* for lying and not following the rules.

You might want to read the new book by a Secret Service agent to determine her fitness for office. It comes out June 28 and is called Crisis of Character by Gary J Byrne.

Is Donald Trump my first choice? Nope. But compared to Hillary, I'll take my chances. I know too much of her history and enough of his to make a reasoned choice in November.

I did extensive research on him for a real estate class while I was in grad school at The University of Virginia. I've read all his books. I've studied his life and history for a couple of decades now.

You seem like a reasoned individual. Perhaps you might want to do some research on Hillary other than what the news media tells you.
