I'm a little dissapointed. I thought you were better than that. Nobody here pinned any white killings of blacks on Obama. And I don't hate the man, but my strong dislike for him has nothing to do with his color. Let me repeat: NOTHING to do with his color. But everything to do with his failed policies like the horrible nuclear pact with Iran, refusal to call Islamic Terrorism...Islamic terrorism. Allowing in migrants from the Middle East and North Africa without admittedly proper vetting first. Threatening to withhold federal funding to schools that do not adhere to his utopian transgender bathroom policies and for stating that Climate Change is the greatest threat of our time. How about calling ISIS the "Jayvee team" and that we have them contained? I could go on and on about what I don't like about Obama, but his skin color is not one of them. I, for one, am happy to see that his color did not get in the way of electing the first black president and that, that barrier has been removed.

As far as deteriorating race relations go, white on black murders and cops killing innocent blacks goes back way further than Obama's presidency. I just would have expected him to use a cooler head when each incident arose and not choose sides and attempt to convict each one in the court of public opinion before they actually went on trial. Pinning the black community against cops is wrong, dangerous and beneath the president's dignity. Supporting Black Lives Matter regardless of their tactics and behavior has caused many to believe that some of the fault for this downward spiral should be laid at his door step. I had seen tremendous leaps forward in race relations over many years prior to his election. Do you believe that they haven't deteriorated during his term?

Every single one of the failed and baffling policies you mentioned piss me off too, believe me. What I'm saying is that race relations has ALWAYS been an issue in America, and it doesn't matter WHO sits in the Oval Office, TR. I admit I kinda went off too quick, but let me explain something to you; Racism has never gone away vs. police in the urban community. It's always been there; TV just stopped reporting every incident. The #blacklivesmatter Movement isn't saying "only we matter." It's saying, "when black people are killed, it's way past time for it to MATTER TO MAINSTREAM AMERICA. Since you came at me reasonably, I'm returning the same. Ask yourself this question: "Has black deaths mattered to the white community? Is there just as much of an outrage there, as there always is...in the black/minority community?"

I can't get into it more than you all because I'm enjoying my white privileges by NO LIVING IN URBAN AREAS NEAR ALL THE CRIME.

Since you didn't respond, I'll take that as a "no". It's very easy to take a one-sided view on issues in America. But the general "I-don't-care-doesn't-happen-to-me-so-it's-not-my-problem" is a fatal flaw in the average conservative's thought process. Fatal. The Republican Party is on its deathbed, because of attitudes like that.
