Hi, every year at this time we post a list of people who served. Some are now gone. If you or a comrade would honor us with your name on our list, Blessings! For all of you, happy memorial day!
My brothers, sister and father are vets, my uncles and cousins are vets, my friends and employees are vets and I am also! American Indian culture has a long tradition of military service.
Thank you for your service. This is one of my favorite images in my collection. I used it a while back illustrating what TRUE HEROES look like. Thank you and your family.
Wow, thank you both so much; Sometimes I think it's probably just as hard for veteran families as it is for the veterans themselves.

Typically I post about veterans on Veteran's Day, but I understand your sentiment. Memorial Day is meant to remember our fallen heroes who died while in battle or even those who have simply passed away.
I want to mention my Grandpa who passed away in 2002. He served in the Navy.
Yeah, I just wanted to make something thanking (At least the members of this site who are vets) vetereans for their service. I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather; I'm sure he was a brave man. IMO anyone who joins the military is a brave man in my eyes. What rank was he, if you don't mind my asking?

I'm really not sure what his rank was. I'm not too familiar with Navy Rankings. I was Army 10 years ago and know Army and Marine rankings. I believe he just did his initial service and did not 're-enlist. But it was sometime in the late 50's.
Oh okay. Thank you for your service too! I know a little bit about navy rankings.. I think it's basically all the same 'til you get to lieutenant and they have Admirals instead of Generals.
YEAH IF WE COULD PUT ASIDE POLITICS AND OUR MORONIC ARGUMENTS; AND JUST APPRECIATE OUR VETERANS, AND ALL THEY'VE DONE AND SACRAFICED FOR US FOR AT LEAST ONE DAY; THAT WOULD BE PRETTY DAMN GREAT
