In the end, all things considered, life is what you choose it to be. We're all sharing the earth, it belongs to none of us and each person has a right to their own opinion. The problem comes from people having different opinions, and trying to unify those opinions under a system where all opinions are equal. Unfortunately, people and their opinions eventually and inevitably clash ending in cultural and physical wars. There's nothing we can do about it. The only thing you can do is live out your own religion and try to coexist with those who disagree.

As a message to my fellow Christians; Yes, we need to stand up for our beliefs. But we don't need to trample over other people to do so. If you're against gay marriage, vote against it. But don't go up to your gay neighbor and call him/her a f*ggot who's damned to burn in hell. Witness to them in a Christian brotherly love, explain to them why you are CONCERNED for their soul, and if they tell you to F*ck off then leave them alone; That's what Jesus told us to do.

Exactly. People always say Christians are hateful, taking into account only the notable ones who have done terrible things in the name of Christianity; Yet they fail to see that Christianity STRONGLY CONDEMNS all hateful/harmful behavior.

Well said... I have known far too many atheists who were driven there by exclusionary Christians. While possibly well meaning the damage they do can be severe.

It really tears me apart because we are instructed to "Not cast our pearls before swine" Which is not an insult to non-believers, but a hyperbole showing how useless it is to keep trying to force Christianity on non-believers. It's the same as giving a pearl to a pig; Not only will the pig not appreciate it, they'll just trample it into the mud.

I believe in leading by example in all things, if you do this, and not "hide your light", then those you would want to reach will get messages that you did not know you were sending and they will receive them in a way that is not intrusive.

Honestly, this was kinda directed at a very specific person. He was very condescending with regards to even being open to the idea that God might exist. His additude was basically "there is no God, and if you even consider it a possibility, you're a moron."
