Unfortunately it's also hard to find a non-major news network that is objective, so I just look at all of them and try to piece things together.

Or in my case, go to libertarian-minded news sources. Or I have to go to foreign unbiased news sources.

Yeah. The BBC is better than a lot of American news sources. Finding a good site and then seeing an article like "Insert name here is America's last hope" and closing the tab in disgust gets frustrating. So far theonion.com is the most objective source I've found.

Funny you say that, considering the 24-hour news cycle is unfair, biased and unbalanced.

News & commentary sans bias doesn't exist. The closest possible unbiased reporting we will ever see is where an individual discloses his/her bias beforehand.
