micro aggression, safe space, mansplaining, trigger warnings, they are just pulling stuff out of their butts at this point

Exactly! If we all want to stop racism and be equal, why all this separatist attitude? You can't have it both ways.

Don't you think the whole concept of the Successful Black Man might have been inspired by stereotypes?

I always considered the point of it as to negate the stereotype, not imply that one agrees with it-- to make the viewer reconsider the stereotype they jump to in the first part. For example "I took your... advice and bought 10,000 shares of Google"... it's the finish that turns it on its head. This one just seems to jump from one implied stereotype ("took", stealing) to another stereotype (work ethic is somehow based on race).

Thanks for making my point-- admitting you think "work ethic" is racial....

you're right, of course. but did you hear that little $h!t's interview after everything went down? he still believed that there is such a thing as cultural appropriation, but felt he wasn't guilty because dreads were not unique to blacks and because most blacks wouldn't know the cultural significance of dreads. smh.

I do not believe that any hairstyle is cultural appropriation, with that being said, whites habe set the standards of what dress, hair length, and facial hair are appropriate or acceptable for beauty, for events, for society, and most importantly in school and the work place. So the very idea of cultural appropriation in regards to caucasians is beyond silly. That was strictly enforced assimilation and non conformity always effects the way one is treated by many, not all of course.
