If you click on the imgflip logo on the site, there are two options beneath that: the Hot stream, or the Latest stream. The Hot stream is the default option, and the first page is the front page. But if you click "Latest" instead, you get to see the memes that were featured most recently.

I think most people on the site browse the Hot stream without clicking Latest. That's why every now and then I like to do a compilation like this of memes I've seen from the 'Latest' stream that I liked, so that people can click on them and check them out, if they want to.

Hopefully that makes some kind of sense. :)

I gave it an upvote for using imgflip crayons... although I have to admit the only Daniel I know was the brother in the Elton John song. :)

I had just recently heard about "damn daniel" myself when I did this meme. You can find some of the viral vids on You tube.

I've seen the video. I don't really understand why someone would film that and post such a thing, or why it would become popular. Also, I thought they were mocking him and making fun of him for having out-of-fashion clothing. But a lot of people seem to take it the other way - that they're praising him (which fits in with your "cool cat" one).

They were praising him for looking so cool in average, non spectacular clothing. He is a handsome kid and I guess they think wears anything well. It is a "very young person" thing lol I shouldn't have got it either :D

TY. It is hard using those thin crayons. I wish there was a way to enlarge them.
