It's really good we can now look back through all our old comments, and this meme is a good way to let people know that feature is there...

I think the mods don't listen when people send them feedback forms about every meme of theirs that doesn't get featured, or every petty gripe they have with another user. And who can blame them?

I will add I sent a feedback on a possible security issue last week, heard back from Dylan within an hour! He was right on it. Sent him a little more info he requested and the issue was properly checked out. Kudos on the reaction time!

I similarly sent feedback recently on another security concern, and Dylan responded quickly and addressed the concern.

It sucks that people even have to exploit websites like that. It must be a pain for the mods to stay on top of every time something happens.

I hear what you're saying but some users have legitimate gripes about some other users...I never choose sides I just laugh and watch the show...I've never really had any "real" problems with any users...not surprising, considering I never get involved in flame wars or arguments...some people just mess with me cuz I'm popular...will always be that way...But I never ever bother the Mods with something like that...

Yes, good point. Some gripes are legitimate.

On that note, I would like to be able to "block" a user. I am not sure if that's the proper term, just make it so I can't see their stuff, comments, memes, etc. There are some people that I just don't need to see. Of course, a dedicated troll would just use an alternate log in.

I would also like to see a private message feature so that I could send someone a message with out the whole world seeing it.

That would definitely be a nice option but you're right, the way people use alts around here, you'd never be rid of them.

I want to test an option - if you text comment someone but then delete it immediately, I think it will only be visible in the recipient users notification window. I haven't tried it with another user yet, and I believe there will be a character limit as well.

Or fix the glitch where if you're doing a meme comment and you have to search for the template, it ends up creating a normal meme instead of a comment, forcing you to link to your meme, embed it, or download it and upload it as an image. It would save a lot of time.

Yeah, that would be nice. But seriously, being able to use the pricedown font would be dank.

Ok, to do what I think you're asking 1) click "Meme Comment" 2) Click "Add Image" - the third one across the top of the template 3) from there is "Search Memes" you can search IMGflip's or other user loaded templates. If you check that box you'll get a pop up, just click OK, it's basically warning that some could be NSFW. 4) resize the image, caption, and generate! 5) Wait for the upvotes to roll in!

I hope that's not true. Hopefully their response would be based on the type of issue, not the user bringing it up.

I had sent them over a dozen messages trying to get an answer as to why my a previous account of mine was not able to make any type of comment. No response. I contacted them about an individual that was harassing me on another previous account causing it where I couldn't comment but once every 2 hours. No matter how much content I linked to show them what was going on, no response and no action taken. So I told them if they were going to do anything to improve my experience then I would take action myself. So since I couldn't comment, I hendered his memes from being viewed. Within 24 hours My account was deleted: reason giving- for hindering the experience of someone else. So when it was done to me, they found no fault. When I do it, action was taken against me. Each scenario I had less than 100k points. So I have no reason to believe anything but to believe they don't care about the little people here.

Those really are very different issues, and I don't think it's reasonable to compare them. A user saying "hey wouldn't it be cool if we could see our own comments" is very different from "help me I've gotten involved with a flame war with another user" (especially if making comments visible was something they were already thinking of doing anyway).

Calling what I have been through a flame war lessens what it really was, and that was flat out harassment. For him to not only use alts but a few other people to remove my ability to comment and enjoy this site is not just two people having an argument. But that wasn't the only thing I have contacted them about. They should have responded to one of my multiple messages asking why on a new account I couldn't make any comment at all. That seems like a problem within the site and something they should have responded to, but never did. I guarantee if I was to send in a feedback about requesting they make it possible to label memes as meme comments only, in order to seperate memes out from those we want to submit to those we never plan to, I know for a fact that they would never respond in saying whether they would consider doing it or if they don't like the idea. How do I know this? Because they don't respond to the little people on this site.
