If the whole point is hunting why do you need so many rounds per mag?

You can't purchase a SMG or any firearm from a grocery store. Like it or not Gun Control is Taxpayer Disarmament. That's all it's meant for and that's all it does.
You can't even buy an SMG at a regular gun store. You have to find one that's a Class 3 specialty dealer.

How many books on Terminal Ballistics have you ever read? Caliber Press's "Street Survival" which is a law enforcement manual has a pic of a biker who got shot 19 times before he went down.
I've read several including Evan Marshall and Ed Sanow's book on real shootings and ammo used. I was a crime reporter in a HIDA for 20 years. I covered shootings in every caliber from
22 to .50. I never covered any one shot stops with a 9mm. That's why most of those had 15 shot mags. You'd need a mag and a half to stop one guy.

I know modern day America is like a GTA V server so I understand wanting an RPK just to feel safe but if guns were harder to get you wouldn't need to worry so much about getting shot. Down where I live, shootings almost never happen. You can still get a gun but they don't just sell them to anyone. Also have ya ever heard of an old trick called reloading?

People need to start thinking critically again.
