The Paw Patrol end up in an unknown world filled with dinosaurs. With the help of their new friend Rex, they help save the endangered species from Mayor Humdinger's plan from kidnapping them.

In 2018, 23 days after Thanos erased half of all life in the universe,[a] Carol Danvers rescues Tony Stark and Nebula from deep space. They reunite with the remaining Avengers—Bruce Banner, Steve Rogers, Thor, Natasha Romanoff, and James Rhodes—and Rocket on Earth. Finding Thanos on an uninhabited planet, they plan to use the Infinity Stones to reverse his actions but learn that Thanos has destroyed them. Enraged, Thor decapitates Thanos.

Five years later, Scott Lang escapes from the Quantum Realm.[b] Reaching the Avengers Compound, he says he experienced only five hours while trapped. Theorizing that the Quantum Realm allows time travel, they ask a reluctant Stark to help them retrieve the Stones from the past to reverse Thanos's present actions. Stark, Rocket, and Banner, who has merged his intelligence with the Hulk's strength, build a time machine. Banner says that altering the past does not affect the present, since any changes create alternate realities. Banner and Rocket travel to Norway, where they visit the Asgardian refugee settlement of New Asgard and recruit an overweight, despondent Thor. In Tokyo, Romanoff recruits Clint Barton, who became a vigilante after his family was erased.

Banner, Lang, Rogers, and Stark time-travel to New York City during Loki's attack in 2012.[c] At the Sanctum Sanctorum, Banner convinces the Ancient One to give him the Time Stone after promising to return the Infinity Stones to their proper points in time. At Stark Tower, Rogers retrieves the Mind Stone from Hydra sleeper agents, but Stark and Lang's attempt to steal the Space Stone fails, allowing 2012-Loki to escape with it. Rogers and Stark travel to Camp Lehigh in 1970, where Stark obtains an earlier version of the Space Stone and unexpectedly encounters his father, Howard, who he is able to have a conversation with. Rogers steals Pym Particles from Hank Pym to return to the present and sees his lost love, Peggy Carter.

Rocket and Thor travel to Asgard in 2013.[d] Rocket extracts the Reality Stone from Jane Foster. Thor is encouraged by his mother, Frigga, and retrieves his old hammer, Mjolnir. Barton, Romanoff, Nebula, and Rhodes travel to 2014. Nebula and Rhodes go to Morag and steal the Power Stone before Peter Quill can,[e] while Barton and Romanoff travel to Vormir. The Soul Stone's keeper, Red Skull, says that it can be acquired only by sacrificing a loved one. Romanoff sacrifices herself, allowing Barton to get the Stone. Rhodes and Nebula attempt to r

eturn to their own time, but Nebula is incapacitated when her cybernetic implants link with her past self, allowing 2014-Thanos to learn about his future self's success and the Avengers' attempt to undo it. 2014-Thanos sends 2014-Nebula forward in time to prepare for his arrival.

Reuniting in the present, the Avengers place the Stones in a gauntlet that Stark, Banner, and Rocket have built. Banner, who has the most resistance to their radiation, uses the gauntlet to undo Thanos's disintegrations. Meanwhile, 2014-Nebula (impersonating her future self) uses the time machine to transport 2014-Thanos and his warship to the present and destroys the Avengers Compound. Present-day Nebula convinces 2014-Gamora to betray Thanos, but is unable to convince 2014-Nebula and kills her. Thanos overpowers Stark, Thor, and a Mjolnir-wielding Rogers. He summons his army to retrieve the Stones, intent on using them to destroy the universe and create a new one. A restored Stephen Strange arrives with other sorcerers, the restored Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Ravagers, and the armies of Wakanda and Asgard to fight Thanos's army.[f] Danvers also arrives and destroys Thanos's warship, but Thanos overpowers her and seizes the gauntlet. Stark steals the Stones and uses them to disintegrate Thanos and his army, sacrificing himself.

After Stark's funeral, Thor appoints Valkyrie as the new king of New Asgard and joins the Guardians. Rogers returns the Stones and Mjolnir to their proper timelines and remains in the past to live with Carter. In the present, an elderly Rogers passes his shield to Sam Wilson.

After the destruction of the Cloud Catcher and Mayor Humdinger's arrest,[a] meteoriticist Victoria Vance steals a giant electromagnet from Hank and Janet's scrapyard, inadvertently setting a fire that traps the owners. Janet sends Ryder and the Paw Patrol pups to extinguish the fire.

At Adventure City, the citizens gather for a meteor shower, while Ryder introduces the Paw Patrol to Nano, Mini, and Tot, three Pomeranians who wish to be part of the team as Junior Patrollers. Meanwhile, Vance travels to an abandoned observatory and creates a Meteor Magnet from what she stole, hoping to attract an incoming magical meteor. The machine malfunctions, causing the meteor to head for Paw Tower. Ryder and the pups evacuate the tower, and help the civilians escape before the meteor destroys the tower and wrecks the street below it. The Paw Patrol takes the rock to their Aircraft Carrier headquarters for analysis.

That night, Skye awakens as the meteor rock begins to glow. It splits to reveal seven crystals, one of which grants her the powers of flight and super strength. The other pups each take a crystal to gain powers themselves, but as Liberty seems to have no abilities, Ryder assigns her to train the Junior Patrollers.

Vance, having been arrested for public endangerment, escapes prison with Humdinger and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew. Inside Humdinger's private airplane, the group plans to trap the Paw Patrol, who have now re-branded as "the Mighty Pups". Vance deliberately destroys one of the plane's engines and calls Ryder, who sends Skye to investigate. Vance steals Skye's crystal and parachutes out of the plane alongside Humdinger and the kittens, except for Skye. Ryder and the other pups clear Main Street so Skye can land the damaged plane.

Back at the Aircraft Carrier, Skye tells Chase that having superpowers was the first time in her life she did not feel like the smallest and weakest. Having been the runt of her litter at birth, she was always overlooked and never got adopted. Hoping to find herself a home, she tried to follow Ryder through a blizzard, but collapsed from hypothermia. Thankfully, Ryder turned around and saved her from freezing by wrapping her in his coat. Taking the other pups' crystals, Skye attempts to retrieve hers from the villains, but Vance, having acquired superpowers of her own, captures Skye and steals the rest of the crystals. When Skye tries to warn Vance of the consequences of using the Meteor Magnet to attract more meteors

Vance reveals to Skye that she was bullied by her former colleagues in her group for her meteor obsession and called her a mad scientist and Skye realizes that Vance also feels overlooked and unimportant like her, she unsuccessfully attempts to reason with her. After learning of what has happened, the rest of the Paw Patrol and Junior Patrollers fight and subdue Humdinger, who has used one of the crystals from Vance to grow into a giant. Marshall retrieves the crystal, and Humdinger is rearrested.

The Paw Patrol follows the crystal's signature to the observatory, where the Junior Patrollers distract Vance so Zuma can rescue Skye. The pups each take turns using Humdinger's crystal as they fight Vance. During the battle, Chase falls off a cliff, but Liberty rescues him, discovering her superpower is elasticity in the process. The pups retrieve the other crystals, subdue and rearrest Vance, and destroy the meteor Magnet; however, Vance has already attracted more meteors, which are now heading for Adventure City. The pups give their crystals to Skye, who flies into the air and destroys each meteor individually. A giant meteor enters the Earth's atmosphere, and Skye destroys it as well; she is subsequently rendered unconscious, but the crystals resuscitate her. She and the Paw Patrol celebrate together, as they head back to Adventure Bay.
