Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and you'll go to Heaven when you die.

The Bible does not say that if you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you will go to Heaven when you die.

John 3:16 (KJV): "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".

Acts 16:31 (KJV): "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house".

Why don't those two verses count?

With only 144,000 Sainted Chosen (those are Jews to you and me) and a handful of gentiles judged on the goodness of their works to enter the Pearly Gates, there sure is not much of a guarantee for a spot on that line.
