No legislator gets paid senate or house f federal employees are deprived of their paycheck. No retro pay after it’s done ver either. We will never have another shutdown.
I think every time Congress fails to pass a budget on time they should all forfeit their salary for the entire year. It’s not like something they can’t plan for. They know it has to be done every year.
