Hi Someone. Glad to try to help you understand how to better analyze things. I made most of my living analyzing data, looking for trends, patterns, outliers, variables, etc. I know it sounds exaggerated, but I was paid (very well) to be right 100% of the time. If I made a mistake, I could cost my employers millions of dollars. If you aren't honest about the data, the outcome is never good.
To be clear, I do not want to tell you what to think, but how to think. I relied on input from every available source in my example above. People who can see outside the paradigm are priceless. I can't count the times that a "new guy" saw things more clearly than the 30 years experience guys, and made valuable contributions.
I try not to be confrontational in my comments, but in the heated climate we find ourselves in, I do confess to joining in the taunting for a little entertainment. I'm trying to not do that, and meeting someone like you who is earnestly inquiring and seeking the truth certainly helps. Like-thinking is dangerous, seeking and finding the truth is the highest priority. That's my training, that's what I enjoy most about every challenge.
You know how you respond to people who are respectful. I think you'll find that respectfully asking questions, as you have done, with those who appear to be "right wingers" on imgflip you'll find some very experienced and thoughtful people to offer differing views for you to examine and consider. I'm not trying to accuse, but trying to have a meaningful dialog with most of those on the "liberal side" here is difficult at best. When I started on imgflip there were people like OctaviaMelody who leaned hard left, but would discuss views honestly. People like this are precious, but harder to find lately. Be very well, you are a good person.
