The logical conclusion of communism is literally increased government control

that is the exact opposite of what communism is

like literally the polar opposite

The point of communism is literally that companies deserve to be held accountable, and the fact that communists believe in the labor theory of value and not the market theory of value means that any attempt to make profit they find evil for some reason. Communists want the government to have a monopoly on all means of production because it’s the only effective regulatory apparatus for that sort of thing. Any communist that tells you that only workers themselves are able to control the means of production is being dishonest or an idiot.

So does that not lead to greater state control?

"Communists want the government to have a monopoly on all means of production"

just shows how little you know about communism

So far you’ve only told me that I’m wrong without going any further I’d really like to know what you think it is

well, for one, communism asks for no government at all, and also no money

i would have to research more in depth to get specific details etc but I don't want that because that's irrelevant

I'm just saying it's not authoritarian and doesnt ask for overly strict government control

Marx not being able to understand the logical conclusions of his beliefs doesn’t immediately make communism not authoritarian.

marx was a complete idiot,
although I understand some of the appeal communism could have had during that time period

but just because it's stupid and would ultimately lead to authoritarianism because of its lack of foresight doesn't mean it IS authoritarian within itself

Marx did not promote communism as it was during Lenin & Stalin in Russia, he promoted socialism.
He only wrote theories regarding the state of workers and capitalism; Communism itself is the application of one of the phases he talked about, and it diverges so much from Marxism that it really is only comparable when you simplify it to death.

TIKHistory has an excellent video that’s about 5 hours long that goes through many of the similarities that hitler & nazis had with marxist socialists
