id never even heard of expedition and i know nothing about wurthering

apparently wuthering waves rigged it somehow by rewarding people for voting for them

although I don't know much about the situation
and I don't really follow game awards stuff or know how it works

that doesnt sound like its allowed

i know games encourage players to vote for them thats how runescape won so much but bribes seem cheaty

Wuthering is one of those free gatcha games that won players choice.

Expedition 33 from what I hear is actually a very good rpg that deserves most of its awards. It actually screwed over Dispatch in the Indie Game category despite being an AA game. It won so many awards, it’s spawned a bunch of jokes about how it’s going to win everything from elections to the World Cup.
