Fun fact, they kind of are, but on a really small scale. Your screen is made of subpixels, lights that are one color. So these pixels have to take up space, so they are arranged in a 🟥🟩🟦 pattern, or something similar on your screen. So what happens is that images will use different combinations, thus taking up different spaces, so, the image is actually moving!
