The way that most of the Middle East became Muslim is very similar to the way that it had become Christian 5 centuries before. And for centuries, Jewish people thrived in Muslim areas, while they were persecuted in Christian areas.

Also, it's fascinating to see how similar the xenophobic hysteria about Muslim immigrants is to the prejudice against Catholic immigrants in the US 100 years ago.

Having gone from Communism to Liberalism, to now center right has been a 10 year journey for me, while seeing the U.S Democrats going the exact opposite. Before the fall of the USSR and DDR, it wasn't a partisan thing to avoid Islamism - it was a world standard. Back when history was respected instead of changed.

Jew-hating/baiting in modern society has been a thing since the emergent Right Wing started claiming that the Left Wing is a Jewish/Zionist invention utilized as part of some sort of nefarious 'Globalist' takeover. It's still very much is, as targeting Jewish people has been for the last 2,000 years. By Westerners/Europeans/Christians.
