We have three, all of them know their genders, two girls, one boy, really young adults now. Thankfully, they are mostly past the daredevil stage, our youngest was well known in the ER. He is in an ICU now; he was hit by a drunk driver this weekend. He just seems to attract pain. He is expected to fully recover but this time it will take a while. He is a firefighter and was trying to tell the 1st responders how to get him out of his truck.
When I saw that video of that little boy, I laughed because I knew that could have been my own son. When he was small, about 9, I was working on a paper for college, he walked up behind me asked if I was busy, when I said a little, he said well when you are done can you take me to the hospital? He had broken his arm. I splinted it and took him to the ER, the first nurse to see us hollered down the hall that he was back and several of the staff stuck their heads out of rooms to welcome him. Both of us spent our lives collecting scars. Alpha maleing is a hard job.
