We told Eastern Europeans that we would back them if they went up against their Soviet occupiers. When they did in Hungary in 1956, we stood by and watched them get killed. When they did in Czechoslovakia in 1968, we stood by and watched them get killed. We told the Kurds that we would back them if they went up against Sadam Hussein. When they did, we stood by and watched thousands of them get gassed to death by him.
We told Kurds that we had their backs when they fought ISIS in Syria for us. Then Trump ordered the soldiers to leave them so they can get slaughtered by Erdogan. Meanwhile he took the credit for fighting ISIS, when all US soldiers did was have a base nearby to let others know that the Kurds were hands off.
Despite the fact that we've been waiting for it since 1979 and a painted them as the world's most dangerous country and biggest sponsor of terrorism on Earth (we needed another country as backup and then to replace the Soviet Union as the evil anti-Americans), they never did attack us as we pretended they would, at least not without prompting, like in 2020.
