briefly had a six month period split in an old friend group that boiled down to a nothing burger where everyone tore at each other's throats.

definitely hasn't been the same as it was before since, but it's been two years now and we're still generally going strong again.

The kicker is that the peace talks actually deadass happened on APRIL F**KING FIRST.

Shit happened on APRIL FOOLS DAY and has somehow managed to hold up better than I ever expected it would. We've had plenty of petty drama here and there, but generally (though it's burnt him out real badly - bless him for still doing this, honestly) the de facto leader of the group manages to handle it in due time.

I used to have several friends and friend groups when I was in elementary school and (probably) more of them in junior-high school.
Now I only have 2 close friends and a few others that I'm okay with hanging out with (though I rarely do)...
And since my high-school is semesterized and that some of my friends aren't in any of my classes, I can't hang out with them anymore, mind lunchtime... :(
