Trying to get attention by being a turd. Looks like maybe a mix of a Turkish Angora & Turkish Van. I had a van in the past that lived 19 years and have an angora now that's 14 and still going. These cats seem to live long lives and are highly mischievous, intelligent & dramatic but also very devoted & tolerant of people's crap. Now Vans can show a peppery side but they're so extreme that it's clearly fake and just plain drama and angoras are just plain nuts. Mine is diabetic and enjoys getting insulin shots & blood sugar tests. The look on our vet's face was priceless when we told her that he purred during the test. Shots are easier than most think but apparently even dogs react to blood sugar tests. Not angoras. Granted not every single one will be like this but it's the norm for these breeds. Looks at camera after he/she does it. Face looks angora but leg and paw thickness and top of head suggests a van. Most vans have the rust color and more color marks but some have other colors with white but mostly white for yours and angoras come in all colors but many like the odd eyed white ones. Mine is orange and white. A male orange Angora which is a triple dose since orange cats, especially males, are quirky anyway. You'll enjoy this one in particular for a long time likely.

That's all cool to know. Thanks for sharing. I liked the GIF and now I learned something new, too. I've never had an Angora or Van. But I have had the types that would do exactly what the cat is doing...which is why I love them, too.

Oh look another long one here and ok so that's a found gif and not your cat. Many have them and don't know they're a breed. We never bought based on breed but the woman we got cats from only charged $40 for them and none of the virtual pint of blood most catteries expect you to give to adopt. Many sit in cages for years because these places are ridiculous in their demands & it's often more political really but she didn't do that or charge based on breed. They rescued strays and abused so most cats we've had were abused or had been stray but she just kept acquiring purebreds. Never knew my past Van was one until after I got the angora. He has a slender body & a greasy fur appearance & identical to the angora especially on personality. Discovered by accident we had a Van for 13 years. He was 6 when we got him & had been abused and abandoned. He sat up and begged like a dog but moved his paws up and down with them pressed together like he was praying which got him his way often. Also got to adopt a black cat from her in October of 2016 because she knows us so she knew we wouldn't do disgusting things to a black cat. He was a stray & a "velcro" cat who stalks me & claims his ownership over me & looks identical to a panther with shiny patent leather black short hair, muscular and pretty large with all black nose, paws, lips & ears plus copper eyes but just smaller than a black panther. Also walks like one with the sway in the butt. My Snowshoe was rescued from a hoarding drug dealer who had many cats and many were dead. He's a giant and I mean his skeleton is huge. Grumpy cat was a snowshoe mix & a dwarf but seal point. Mine is blue point and gorgeous but an abnormally large skeleton. She had to get him adopted fast since drug dealer was threatening them because they tricked her into signing him over for "treatment" when it was really adoption. She knew he'd be good with us so we signed adoption for Bombay & got him too.

Yay on the adoption! 💛💜
What kind of cat do you think this is? She's small. She doesn't seem the normal long hair American. She was a stray & is mine now. Had her since she was about 6 weeks old. She is shorter and lighter weight than any I've ever had.

Likely a mix since she's small but her white on chest and face struck me as something I've seen before. Now she'd have to be a mix that resembles the particular ones that jumped out since the breed that jumped out is large like Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, Birmans etc and that breed is the Siberian. Look up Siberian cat breed and look at some pics of different ones and read their personality traits to see if she fits. Very majestic looking cat and beautiful face!.

Thank you! I knew she was different than any I've had. Internet also said they can be chatty in friendly tones...which she is...especially when I talk about cookies

Yeah that's a good sign on her breed and looks like it even in the subtle parts like ear sizes and positions matches up. If she's especially tiny though is dwarfism possible? You'd have to look into feline dwarfism then look her over to see if she is. She could be mixed and just took on all the traits and appearance of Siberian or the runt of the litter. These cats have some of the prettiest faces.

She may have been the runt. I feed my cats good food and they've always grown very.well...surpassing size and health of others in their breed. She is maybe 7 pounds. My other cats are 9-12 lbs. So I think she's small. She has held onto some of her feral shyness. But she's coming out of her shell more.and more. She seeks me out and actually invites me to come snuggle. She keeps excellent eye contact when I talk to her. And her paws are soooo stinkin cute! She's the baby, for sure.

Oh okay she was feral. If she didn't get her nutrition properly when she was really little that could've messed up her growth a bit. Although 7 Ibs for especially a female cat is healthy it's small for the breed but if she's mixed or if nutrition didn't work out early on that's likely why she's small for that breed. She looks healthy 💪

She is very healthy, strong, funny, good with other pets. Thanks so much for giving info and clues about the breed. i tell her every day that I'm lucky she chose to live with me!

These are her "cousins" who are brother and sister. All 3 came from same neighbor's litters.

I'd argue your neighbor's cat was impregnated by more than one tom cat. They can be too. She's likely very popular with the tom cats where you are :D These are my three turds.

Here's a few more with more of their bodies showing. As you can see the Snowshoe "Big Boy" is huge, the Turkish Angora "Max" and the Bombay "Cole" who's obsessed with me.

Had to reply here as the images of your cats brought an end to the conversation. I think your snowshoe is really cute! Those eyes! And, yes, my Siberian must have come from a neighborhood Tom. My neighbors had mousers who they refused to feed. So my short hair American's mom died because she didn't have enough food to milk. So the male neighbor set his dog loose on the litter. They put three in my garage to force them on me....so their next female with a litter got extra food from me and I trapped several of her babies (one of which, the Siberian) chose to stay with me 😊
