More like a strategy to make EVERYONE poor. Never trust what radicals tell you their aim is. They LIE.

It's a method that'll "work" for what ever revolutionary goal you have

Remember when leftists told us that European nations had no right being in Africa? See the double standards now? Europe had easily taken better standards there and could have built a better country for them right there in Africa. Now that's Job Creation.

You mean they were the only ones against the brutalities of colonial exploitation?

Correct about a double standard though. Immigrants filtering in to wash dishes in restaurants and mop office floors and do the farmwork for substandard pay is hardly comparable to a foreign entity occupying an entire country and raping and killing its inhabitants while stealing its riches.

What you say happened didn't. They moved in, exploited the resources available, employed the locals, built cites and towns. Then along came Communism to plant the idea that the people had been raped and killed. No they were employed in industries and farms etc. And the British actually were some of the first to abolish slavery and fight the slave trade that Europeans were exploiting because the Arabs were there doing it first. Some European countries though did actually invade like the Italians overtaking Ethiopia. But your ideas that all Europeans came in using violence to take over countries is utter crap.

Just because revisionism is being utilized doesn't mean it has to be so lax in effort.
You're talking like colonialism was simply a matter of replacing CEOs.

Africa should have stayed under colonial rule. Keep their own people there, and they could have still had the benefit of a stable political regime(s) and the economic stability that comes with it. But I be racist to think that way. (shrug).

Segregation, pushing people into marginalized areas of their own land, famines because taxes and the exportation of their food to their colonizers takes priority over eating, murders of groups of man as a form of discipline for the actions of one, torture, rape...

And tin-horn dictators, tribalism, off-the-chain militias have treated their nations peoples much better than the colonial governments. I question that.

Gosh, it's amazing what people will learn under the tutelage of Colonial exploiters who then upon departing prop up those very dictators while the USA pumps billions of dollars into their personal bank accounts.

Apparently they learned all the wrong things.

That the boat goes both ways?
Their colonizers came from somewhere. And now the colonized are going there. It was inevitable that they would find their home.

Then why aren't they bringing their families with them? Somalia was a shit-hole before the days of colonialism. They were squashed under the foot of sultanates. Where are the hollow-eyed starving ones? Why aren't they on the boat? The argument you make is specious. Italy hasn't been in charge of Somalia since WW2. Attempts to self-govern there have so far been a failure.

Or just young working age and......... terminally single?

A lot of these are men who simply don't have the assets to make them worth marrying back in their home countries. Or, just like anybody trying to emigrate, they just want money.

The oddest is when they come from war-torn countries like Syria or Somalia, and of course they're saying that they're running for their lives, etc etc. Yet they are young men and no women, or even older men and boys. Like did these guys to say, "Goodbye, grandma it was nice knowing you, but I got to go"?

If my family was in danger I wouldn't be cutting and running to another country and leaving them behind.
So, yeah, are these truly refugees? Not really.
