I think that the main idea of communism, which is to bring power to the working class is generally a good idea and is behind the existence of many things such as labor unions that prevent the abuse of workers, however, many "communist" countries such as China and Russia actually do the opposite, by removing power from the working class the upper class is able to abuse them to get massive amounts of free money. also I kind of think this is a political meme which is generally not appreciated in the fun stream.
