Believe it or not, there are more non-furries with foot fetishes than furries. They have entire groups and hold parties based around it. You can find them. Not to mention it's a booming business on places like OF. If furries dominated the fetish market, you'd see a lot fewer human feet and more fursuit paws and non-zoo paw art.

Actually it's not that they "identify" as animals. Maybe in today's twisted modern society you hear stories about that, but the OG furries don't identify as anything. We're just fans of anthropomorphic characters, similar to folks who are into knights and dragons and fantasy.

Like I said though, you'll find more folks nowadays identifying as different things because they're encouraged to, whether animal or not, and society is allowing it so they don't get labeled as some sort of "phobic"
