The rich will not pay more in taxes with elimination of income tax and expansion of sales tax.



Why? Because they will stop buying things which will crash the consumerism economy we live in.

You never said it would replace income tax. That might be a good deal. I'd have to do some math.

It's a good start, but I'd like to see it closer to 10%. 30% is way too high, but you have to start somewhere. Taking away all of the loopholes and tax shelters would significantly reduce corruption.
