I think Venezuela is a capitalist country but with a government that tried socialism in the 21st century and the success was short lived when the economy tanked.

Venusula was socialist for 15 secands before it became a military dictatorship like all attempts as socialism.
The three steps of socialism: 1: the government takes everything 2: they give it back to the people 3: everyone is happy!
