My dad once elbowed me in his sleep when I was a little kid who was too scared of the dark to sleep alone. My brain turned it into me being in a room that had 2 very realistic sharks painted on the walls and me backing away from with my back to the other and then game feeling the shark move behind me.
I woke up immediately.
