Hey can I talk to you about an important matter? Your the owner of the Christian Clean Meme stream and I have a small problem with the other Moderator. They are using 1st Timothy 2:12 as an excuse to say women cant preach the gospel. I value gender equality, so the fact they did that really disgusts me.

What I meant was that women shouldn't preach in a church, as is more clear in 1st Corinthian 14:34. I, of course, support women sharing the gospel in informal settings.

Well a woman at my church preaches, deal with it. God called her to it and you don't need to be a sexist prick

The thing is, he's right. Except in extreme cases, where there's no man suitable to lead the flock, women shouldn't preach. That's not to say they have no share in ministry; the church is so much more than just preaching. Some jobs are best left to men; others to women; and some can be done equally well by both. All have a place to serve in the body of Christ; it's not always in leadership.

Yeah! There is other parts of the church, such as worship leaders, Preachers, Preists, and children of God! But to say women can't preach is upright sexist, since there is a leader at my church who happens to be a woman who preaches. Being a servant of God shouldn't have to have gender roles.

For example, I am part of a singing worship team, though many people say singing worship is only for girls and not boys.

Also, you do know the actual context behind 1st Timothy 2:12 right? It's not barring women from preaching the gospel, it was about a certain group of women in a church that were speaking lies of the Lord.
