When You Feel the Speed (Someone needs to tell me HOW this doesn't meet the reactiongifs stream requirements!)

This gif isn't really a reaction, as it contains multiple people with different emotions as well as shots of a car driving. The reactiongifs stream is intended as a place where people could come and grab a gif to post elsewhere, so the gif needs to be general enough to be applicable in many contexts.

So.....,.........the guy freakin out how fast the car is going isn't a reaction? O.......k.......if that's what the thread is intended to do, then it needs to be clarified AT SUBMISSION as always.....stuff here isn't up for personal judgement cause that's how I read this statement. It's (this explanation) not on the submission page rules, so, therefore, the image meets those directives!

"general enough to be posted anywhere" is not clear enough ;-)

And frankly, I've had numerous .gifs like this approved in the past, so, it's clear you got one mod who does things "their way" and the rest who aren't so picky.........

Me too, and I don't submit there much anymore as a result. I have cocked my head sideways trying to figure out what was wrong with my gifs and still couldn't. There used to be a rule about titling gifs "When it Snows in April" (which you did here), a rule that was very haphazardly enforced as well judging by the malformed titles I saw in that stream all the time. At least that arbitrary rule has bitten the dust.

I sort of get what Ser is saying about your gif here, but also, I see all sorts of random-ass gifs in the reactiongifs stream that don't seem very "reaction-y." Which is fine, because sometimes reacting with a seemingly offbeat and irrelevant reaction gif is hilarious. Or, there could be a very situational use for it that makes it make sense. We don't really know, it's up to the user!

Agree it is one of the more curiously moderated big streams.

Worth noting though that similar streams like My_Custom_Templates and my own stream NewTemplates (shameless plug) will feature gifs as well as still templates. :)

I would say there is clearly just ONE moderator who is being a stickler, because I can scroll through the thread and see all sorts of gifs I just don't understand how were approved!

I submitted a finny the fish meme in gaming and the mod was high and didn't know what it was so I made my own stream about it since everyone is paying attention to overrated gaming and not unpopular gaming
