The mask doesn't stop the virus that isn't attached to liquid particles. It floats in the air independent of water droplets and flows easily through any clothe or layered mask being used in the public. It's just well known that it would be on those droplets in larger concentrations. The question then is, how many virus cells are you comfortable inhaling?

That cloud of VAPOR he's exhaling is entirely water droplets. That's what vapor is. And notice the up-streams from the top of the mask. That would shoot the virus higher into the air (which might explain some studies showing taller people are more likely to get infected).

I don't think he gets that. I don't think he gets anything about this conversation. And that was a pretty upscale masks as far as some go. Masks stop an estimated 75% of particulate from entering the air. That doesn't lesson someones chances of getting sick by 75%. It only means they inhale less, because 25% is still in the same air. But...we're just trading insults at this point. lol

How many are you comfortable inhaling...you know...the millions that weren't attached to water droplets and are floating around in the air at Walmart? How many does it take to get you sick?

I'm just making a point that airborne viruses don't care about masks. If we ever truly get an airborne virus in the states...these masks are not going to save anyone, but create a false sense of security while we go about our daily tasks.

You're arguing against someone else. Take a look. I never once said that masks don't mitigate the problem. My point is that they don't stop the virus from spreading. Aerosol transmission is responsible for about 1/4 of infections...that's through air particles that pass easily through masks and find their way into someone else's system. The point of the meme is to eliminate the false sense of security thrust upon us by those who claim otherwise.

You create a strawman and cheer for yourself. Everyone knows that a mask mitigates. That's not even a debate. The point is...do you feel safe? As in the title of the meme. If I sneeze or cough into a mask, much of it might at least be slowed down from shooting across a room, but it would still be released into the air. Don't believe it...try doing that with glasses on. It's moisture that fogs up the glasses when you're wearing a mask...the same moisture carrying the virus into the air for others to breath. My sneeze may not make it across the store aisle in a stagnant air situation, but people will walk right to it in a store where AC just blows it all around.

I'm not scared of the virus. You idiots walking around breathing in your own funk all day are the scared ones. I've been out everyday since this idiocy began. You stay inside Karen, and keep tabs on your neighbors for your fearless appointed leaders.
