I did that a month ago xD
My gf was stranded at work because of flooding and kept calling me to come pick her up (I have an SUV). I, of course, didn't have my phone while I was out in the thunder storm washing my car.
I think the biggest in Oklahoma this year was a EF2 I'm not in the bad tornado part of the state but up by Oklahoma city and Moore area they get hammered pretty hard every few years it seems like
The rain never hits our covered porch, but since the wind was out of the east, it got soaked. My wife was out there with a scrub brush washing it down. She was like, "you need to take advantage of a situation like this."
