I've been meaning to ask, why did you get interested in American politics enough to meme about it?

I've only really been using it to make some memes for facebook, trying not to get sucked in again!!! :p

I've been interested in american politics for a long time, i know far more about that than British or European politics, that's for sure! i don't think Americans realise how impactful their foreign policies are to everyone else on the planet...and not in a good way :/

I did a lot of political stuff during the election 2016, i think that's when i started to get up the leaderboard, but that was probably mostly thru' commenting on others' posts rather than my own submissions

haha i remember making plans for having a whisky one time!! I really regret deleting my old account now and losing all my old gifs and memes :( ...but if i'd tried just to stay away...it wouldn't have worked, this thing is too addictive

343 is a reference to 3:43 am, my time of birth! People usually assume its a Halo reference, i think 343 is the name of the company who make the game. what's the connection with 9/11?

I remember plans for a whisky, have some Glenfarclas in the cabinet if we ever get around to that :) I saved a few of the old tokinjester creations somewhere, was sad to see that you had deleted back then. You're right about imgflip being addictive, I cant seem to stay away for very long.

The NYFD lost 343 at the WTC on 9/11. I had a friend from college who was killed that day along with his wife and daughter. The 343 part made me think of that day...

Hope you don't mind me asking, sometimes I have doubts about comeback accounts. You told me in 2016, where do you have family in the States (or where did you back then)?

yeah that was good, i always liked the themed events, i still have a couple of those completed Pulp memes and a whole bunch of blank Pulp images. I lost most of my stuff when my computer blew up!

i didn't know that about 9/11, but just a coincidence i suppose. I have family in Boston (they don;t talk to me now since I turned against Obama!) and had family in Atlanta but they've come back to UK now. I think I'm right in saying i was planning on visiting someone round about then but never got the opportunity! ..can't even remember where she was at the time, she's from Texas but been in Kansas since early last year...still never got around to arranging a visit anyway
