No it's some mask I found when I searched for a rat pic to use. I added the eyes and changed the color/contrast of it but that's all I did to it.

Have you ever seen the movie "An American Tale?" Looks like the giant rat the mice made to scare off the cats.

I might have half a race on my old laptop still, my new one is fancy but has no memory and it can't handle my entire imgflip file. I'm credited with over 17,000 creations on my profile. I'd say conservatively 10,000 of those are creations I photoshopped in some way. I saved every single pic and transferable image I made in that one file on my Sony and it never even hinted at affecting the memory. That doesn't even include the stuff I made for other people or for stuff like photoshop competitions. So I'm working on parting that file out on different thumb drives, I just have to try and organize thousands of pics no big deal lmao!

If I get a chance I might just make another race with godfather baby in it, he'd have to race wtf baby and evil toddler. They are a lot of work though and the last one I made didn't get much attention. I've always said that anything you create that makes one person laugh was worth making. I'm not some dam robot though, it sucks when you spend half a day making something, then watch as reposts and lame memes by people with a lot of imgbook buddies feature faster and do better than my creation.

The negative feelings I get are not from jealousy, it's ridiculous that I even have to write that, though I am sure some will state that is my motivation. I've been at this for years my friend, I have many user names on many sites and I like to keep them anonymous. I want my votes to be based on my work only, imgflip is the only place where I have true friends and that's why I log in here at all. You don't find people online as real as the friends I've made on here... ever....

I'm not a hard guy to get a long with, yeah I write a lot but you always know exactly why I think about something the way I do. I have friends on here that know I only upvote and comment on memes I like. They like me anyway, they are my friends I don't have to buy them with upvotes. I don't want an upvote on something for any reason than the person liked it. Imgflip is one type of audience demographic, I know what kind of memes will do good here and what will do good somewhere else. What I want is memes that appeal to every audience. The problem is I can no longer trust this site to judge my memes honestly, the audience has changed to a facebook buddy system. They wouldn't let me delete my account so I've decided to write incredibly long comments to people I like..

My pleasure! I can understand the memory issue. I used to work in graphics years and years ago. I was so happy with all of the equipment and software I had accumulated. At that time I had the real deal Adobe Suite. I absolutely loved playing around with photoshop. Unfortunately, I don't have a natural eye for art so a lot of the stuff I photoshop (although I love it) is really only so-so.

We moved several hundred miles away about ten years ago and I proudly moved all of my computers and equipment with me. When we decided to move back home about a year later, I didn't want drag all of that stuff back with me. Now I only have my used laptop and a phone. Oh well! :)

I am starting back over with graphic programs and equipment. I just downloaded a freebie program on my laptop. It has layer manipulation capabilites and is the closest free software that is similar to what I needed from photoshop. I also downloaded a free semi-useful app for my phone. You can use layers but it still kind of sucks. Even though I no longer work in graphics, I absolutely LOVE to manipulate pictures - that is one of my favorite hobbies. So, I can honestly appreciate anyone who has the passion and puts in the time to make custom memes, gifs, etc. - it is a crap load of work!!!

I basically bought this laptop to play with, my work one is fancy but I could just hear my boss complaining about a bunch of random pics I saved so I could chop them up. He isn't the biggest fan of memes, thinks I should spend all my time writing instead. I told him, "have you not seen my comments I write plenty on there!" He's a very intelligent and creative guy, I think he fails to see the point in making stuff just for laughs, all about the money that guy is.

I've always used websites like toolpic.com for my shop work. This laptop came with a pixel editor that has to be made by the same people it's so similar. Only difference is toolpic lets you add some generic gif options to a pic and the one on my laptop has an option called color vibrance that I really like. The gif thing kinda sucked anyway lol.

There are a ton of sites and programs out there, the main option I have to have that a lot of sites don't offer is the free distort under the edit tab. It's the only option I know of that makes it possible to add a layer and have it fit perfectly where you want it. I just up and decided to start doing it one day, found a site, and figured it out by myself. I'm still learning stuff, that's probably why I love it so much, I get bored easily and having something new to try and figure out helps a lot. I've always wanted to draw but my hands weren't made to hold little things (phrasing!) I use words to paint my pictures usually, it is a trip to turn around and make a picture that tells a story without any words.

You should go to fark.com and click on contests, it's on their top banner you can't miss it. They have photoshop contests every day and some of those guys are crazy good. I've been lucky enough to win a couple myself only I haven't been there in a few weeks. I have the same screen name, I recommend checking out the contests though. I've made some decent stuff I guess, I had to step up my game when I started over there and saw all the talent ;)

So do you like the distort feature because many other software resizes in a preset ratio? That is one of the problems i have with the app on my phone - it has a preset selection tool. I wanted to color the First World Problems girl's hair to blonde but I had no way to select her hair. Even with a semi-resizable selection tool I may have been able to do it. The app doesn't have a magic wand so I am extremely limited on what i can do.

I know what you mean about pictures and templates with no words. I stumbled upon SpudlyJunk's work recently. I really hadn't seen his memes before. Instant fan of his movie themed templates. It is too bad that he doesn't get more love foe them. I used that phone app to try to make one of my own. Unfortunately the pics I downloaded on my phone really blurred up once I kept adding to my multiple meme template.thank you for the tip about fark.com. I have never been there before and will most definitely check it out!

I've never used any software I do it all the long way by hand lol. If I wanted to change Laina's hair color I would make a copy of her head, erase everything but her hair, then layer it over the other pic and change the color/contrast until it worked lol. I've photoshopped Laina a lot, I think I have some I can show you on here. Found a couple, sorry the sci fi guys on reddit go nuts for pics like that.

I went to fark.com today but I wasn't sure how to navigate to the photoshop items. :p

I might still try to change the hair on FWPs. I will probably just end up finding some hair pic and placing it over hers for right now :)

I have a cutout of her saved so a lot of the work I'd already done. I have multiple cutouts of every meme character, the ones I like anyway. Bad luck brian is a hard one because there is only that one pic of him from back then. Dude is smiling in every pic I've put him in, his smile is so damn goofy it's one hell of a challenge. That and his skin tone, the only time his skin tone matched right off in something I made was when I made my bad luck bernie sanders pic, they match lol. You can look back through my stuff and probably tell when I figured out color adjustments based on when Brian's face started matching the skin tone of his hands lol.

I couldn't imagine picking a favorite. Some stick out in my mind because I learned something new making them. Some have got small amounts of internet fame. Others were just fun to make. I'm not really one to dwell on what I have done already, I prefer to take what I learned and move forward with it. I guess the answer to your question is that my favorite project is the one I'm working on next. There is something about being in the process of creating something that makes me feel more alive.. or a part of life maybe.. there is more life in feeling alive... no.. reaching now... ;)

Not bad for ten minutes, removing color is harder than adding it. But I can make a white person black if I want these days lol. Use this however you wish or not at all..

I layered FWP on herself and erased everything but her hair. I just don't having the editing capabilities on this phone. I tried to play around with several of the filters, then save, reload and readjust. i lose a lot of the contrast that makes it look natural and light. The next time I have my laptop up and running I am going to try it again.

I used to work with a guy who was really good at graphic manipulation. A company wanted to advertise a new line of clothing they sold in theitheir story. The advertiser wanted to change the "look"(being nice here) of the model in the picture they sent to us. He had to drastically lighten her skin tone and change the color of her eyes. He did a really good job. Probably one of my favs that I did was having to recreate a portion of a little boy from a 100 year old picture. Half of his body was cut off and I needed to recreate the other half for an ad. The saving grace was that it was grayscale. It was fun. If I had to guess I was using Photoshop 4 or 5 (aging myself a little here). I got out of the industry about a year after Adobe first launched the creative suite. I cant even imagine how much you can probably do in those programs now. :)

That's about as far as I will go with photoshop, apparently there is money to be made at photoshopping famous people into porn pics. Can you believe that? I guess if it looks real enough porn sites will buy it and pretend it's really them! Yeah... my daughter would disown me lol! I just know that if you put a famous head on the body of anything sci-fi related you can get a lot of upvotes and views from the land of ain't getting any, they have a secret headquarters, think it's called the internet or something...

I took a screenshot of fark and put an arrow on where to click. It's weird, it says nothing about photoshop just contests. Not sure if you have to be a member to see stuff. Don't think so, I doubt I would have signed up without a sample first but who knows. It's a big site, lots of discussions for people who like to argue about stuff online.

Rated one of the top 15 funniest sites on the internet, that's a lot of traffic. They gave me free paid membership on the second day I submitted stuff for the contests. I thought maybe they just do that to everybody and try to hook them. But then another mod gave me the second month for free! I have been on a writing spree though and missed a couple weeks so I lost the paid part of the membership. I'm curious to see if they hook me up again when I find more time for creativity that doesn't pay my bills.

Now I have to try and change her hair.. just to see if I can do it ;)
