I'm marathon watching it right now. Or going back to watching it in a bit. almost through all of season7 (90 episodes there). I still have another 38 episodes to go, as well as two movies. whew! Figured it good to explain what the joke was. Just remember not to confuse Fairy Tail with Veggie Tales.

wizards of all ages (from puberty to past the century mark.One is even dead) are members of various guilds where they get jobs of various degrees. from restaurant work to getting special herbs to fighting demons. The show revolves around the Fairy Tail Guild.They also fight evil. the cast consists of

Natsu Dragneel. Fire Dragon Slayer Wizard. His specialty is fire, and he was raised by a dragon.
Lucy Heartfillia, Celestial Wizard. Has contracts with several celestial beings including several members of the Zodiac. Her own magic powers grow, as do her breasts, over the course of the series.
Gray Fullbuster. An Ice Wizard. Can make ice out of thin air, and shape it to his needs.The women of Fairy Tail always complain because he walks around "naked", but he never has anything less than his boxer shorts.No real nudity in this show.
Erza Scarlett.Weapons Wizard, telekinesis. Is highly skilled in hand to hand combat and uses a number of swords and armor available at her disposal.

These are the core characters at the beginning of the series. Others develop as well. The first season is pretty lighthearted to introduce the characters. after that, they go into long story arcs that can last more than 20 episodes.

There are so many theme songs It surprises me. The core value of the series is family and friends. I just got finished watching a long epic story, that rounded out season seven. Only problem is only seasons one and two are dubbed, the rest are sub-titled. I don't read very fast, so I'm constantly rewinding the last ten seconds so I can read the full script. Season eight goes back to the founding of the guild. I'm taking a short break from Meme making, a week maybe. Just reconnecting with other aspects of life.
