Of NOTE is the nearsbore water temps...high 80's or low 90's....HARVEY may in Fact strengthen beyond the forecast to Super Hurricane status. Begin disaster preparations and then seek high ground at an inland location.

Harvey continues to intensify as central pressure drops to 950mb. Rainfall amounts to 35 inches in some area of Coastal TEXAS predicted - as the storm lingers over the area for the next 120 hours.

I suspect that the conditions will be trashed (Big... but too windy, chopped and disorganized) everywhere but S Texas (once the storm moves to the North)...and maybe Gulf Coast, W-facing Florida. 



I tend to run towards storms, when I can. But this looks un do-able.

I'm allergic to hurricanes, tornadoes, and most other tropical storms. Oh yes.....I also won't live in a place where Mother Nature TRIES TO FUKKING KNOCK MY HOUSE OVER EVERY SIX YEARS!!!

Oddly enough Midland Texas is supposed to be climatically perfect most of the time....Enough so - that some fairly well informed billionaires have been known to relocate there.

actually, while this pic was taken in 1965, I didn't move there until 1982. mobile home park, and the trailer I lived in was one the few that survived.
