Eclipse = Sun and Moon are the same size and the same distance over a flat earth, which allows it to happen....... What's the problem?

Sadly, that's not how it works. If the sun was the same size and distance from the earth as the moon was, we would basically burn alive.

Wrong. You are ASSUMING that the sun is so hot it would burn everything. Obviously it does not, as photos from planes above clouds show the "hot spot" on clouds. There would not be a brighter spot on the clouds if it was far away.

Also, sun rays are shaped like a wheel through clouds.......... If the sun was really thousands of miles away, the rays would all be straight......... CHECKMATE

Can you at least agree that the sun is a flaming ball of plasma? Because if you can't, I'm done talking to you. Assuming that you beleive this, then you know that if the sun was low enough that it was within the "firmament," the air around it would become super heated. This would make it turn to plasma, until eventually everything was so hot that it was plasma. Soon, we would burn to death with nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and no hope at all.
